The beads of dew are what make this piece truly beautiful. You have done a very nice job. The photography seems like it was done by an expert. You used your zoom function well. So I like the impact on this piece. The shades of blue are very nice as well. Color is always a good thing to have in a piece. It helps to set the mood. The lighting is nice to. I say that this wasn't an ultimate five in originality, because there is a lot of water art, on deviantart. I hope that you can understand, and not be offended. You did a very good job, on this piece.
I love the colors in this piece, coupled with the clarity of the one tall frond (or whatever the proper term is for the objects) near the middle. An intriguing abstract piece that keeps me staring and coming back for more.
I bought the print version recently, and it looks beautiful, although it looks just a little darker than the photo appears on my monitor. (Now I need to find a boring/bare patch of wall on which to hang it!)
Oh, it's not bad... if anything, I was used to the online version, but my monitor's probably set a bit too bright. None of the detail nor the clarity of your work is lost in the print; it just appears slightly darker than my monitor shows. The colors are still vivid enough, and the overall visual impact is just as strong. I'm happy to have it in my small but growing collection. (I suppose, too, that getting a bigger print might have made it appear brighter, but wall space is at a premium due to all the bookcases I have, so I went with a smaller size print... 25X38cm/10X15in.)
Anyway, no worries! The print looks good, it arrived safely and in a short amount of time (thanks to both dA and the USPS), and I'm happy to have supported you and your work in this small way!
The picture is definitely original and has a lovely DoF. The color scheme is simple but strong and the light is good too. But what I appreciate most are the grass-like water structures and the small water drops on them. I've rarely seen something like this and I can still hardly believe it's a real picture.
So, congrats and I'm looking forward to the next deviations!
