Darkness Approaches

For some reason, when I look at this the first word that pops into my head is 'Eulogy'. I'm reminded of the moments when your loved one dies and they start to fade from your memory. Even though this has been done before, the play with light and shadow is beautiful simplicity and seems effortless. The model is beautiful just with her aura of solitude. I think there would have been more of a lasting impression if you had shown another body part, maybe pure black hair blowing lose and disappearing in the dark, or her arms wrapped around herself as if she was cold, goosebumps highlighted- all would have enhanced it's austere beauty..but nonetheless, very well done.
