I ALMOST wish there were a little more detail in the flowers, but then they might detract from the shiny, bold insect. I don't recall that I've ever seen a mostly black 'ladybug' before; the ones I've seen have always resembled the others in your gallery. (As beautiful as the other ladybugs photos are, I think it's the uniqueness of this particular insect that prompted me to comment.)
